PRAY (remembering Allah SWT) the biggest, most powerful, and most important is prayer. Prayer is a pillar of religion, a manifestation of faith, a form of gratitude, prevents heinous acts, and brings light and happiness.
"Read what has been revealed to you, namely the Al-Kitab (Al Qur'an) and establish the Salat. Indeed, Prayer prevents from (actions) heinous and evil. And actually remembering Allah (Salat) is greater (its virtue than other acts of worship). And Allah knows what you do."(Surah Al-Ankabut: 45).
What is meant by "remembering Allah is greater" is that prayer is the most important form of worship compared to other forms of worship. Therefore, let every Muslim pray as well as possible. (Qurtubi's interpretation).
By praying too, every Muslim is led to always remember Allah SWT. Remember the prohibitions and commands of Allah SWT are the root of all goodness and happiness in this world and the hereafter.
One of the goals of prayer, apart from being an obligation and need of every Muslim, is to remember Allah SWT.
"Verily I am Allah, there is no God but me, so worship Me and establish prayer to remember Me". (Surah Thaha: 14).
"O you who believe, do not let your property and your children neglect you from remembering Allah. Whoever does this, they are the losers ”. (Surah Al Munafiqun: 9).
Prayer is a manifestation of belief (faith) and is evidence of our dependence on Allah's favor.
Prayers will also bring light and happiness.
"Whoever keeps prayers, he will get light, guidance, and safety on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever does not keep it, he will not get light, guidance, nor salvation. And he was on the Day of Resurrection with Karun, Pharaoh, Haman, and Ubai bin Khalaf " (Narrated by Ahmad and Tabrani from Abdullah bin Umar). Allah knows best.
