Dutch-Exhibit-Explores-New-Muslims-LifeDDHK News, Netherlands - In order to gain insight into the life of Dutch converts in their new religion (Islam), the Amsterdam Museum is holding an exhibition about the lives of people who have recently converted to Islam.

The idea for the exhibition, which was held at the Amsterdam Museum from 11 April - 29 June 2014, is based on the results of research for the doctorate degree (Ph.D) Vroon-Najem who converted to Islam in 1996.

The exhibition entitled "Becoming Muslim" also has a mission to spread better information about Islam, which is increasingly adhering to in the Netherlands. The number of Dutch converts has exceeded 15.000.

Apart from Vroon-Najem's research results, the exhibition also presents photographs of converts by photographer Saskia Aukema.
