Prince MbS Calls on World Arms Boycott of Israel

Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) called for an arms boycott of Israel following its ongoing aggression against Palestine. The call came when the de facto Saudi leader virtually attended the BRICS extraordinary high-level conference (Summit) on Tuesday (21/11/2023).

"[I] urge all countries to stop exporting weapons to Israel," the Saudi Gazette report quoted MbS as saying, as reported by CNN Indonesia.

MbS also said that the humanitarian disaster in Gaza was getting worse day by day, and a firm solution had to be implemented. Additionally, he urged an immediate cessation of military operations. The Saudi Crown Prince also called for the establishment of a humanitarian corridor to provide assistance to civilians in Gaza.

MbS then emphasized that the Saudis were consistent in their stance and fully supported the two-state solution. "There is no way to achieve security and stability in Palestine except through implementing international decisions regarding the two-state solution," he said, quoted by Middle East Monitor (MEMO).
