Princess

Born and raised in a remote area in Riau, where his parents worked for an oil company. Fate brought him to study in the capital at the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia, majoring in Accounting.

Had worked for a multinational company before moving to Hong Kong with his family. In Hong Kong, Medya is busy with activities that are mostly related to Indonesian Migrant Workers. Apart from sharing about religion and joining the recitation of the women of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Hong Kong, Medya was also a member of the 2019 Overseas Election Committee (PPLN).

He is currently active as a teaching staff at a non-governmental organization engaged in financial training and self-empowerment for migrant workers in Hong Kong. Medya believes, by providing learning opportunities we can change our destiny for the better.

Become a member of the Board of Directors of a well-known and well-developed non-governmental organization such as Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong is an honor and a good opportunity for Medya to be able to make more use of her time and thoughts to become more valuable.

Arifina Suhartoyo

A cheerful but shy working mother. Dividing time between flying schedules and homework, this woman who works as a flight attendant at an airline from Hong Kong really enjoys every minute of her role and tasks.

This Bachelor of History from the University of Indonesia (1989-1994) who loves to read and learn new things has lived in Hong Kong for more than 25 years, since 1996.

Before becoming a flight attendant, Arifina was a researcher at her alma mater (1993-1996). He also taught as a lecturer at the Faculty of Letters, University of Indonesia (1994-1996).

Social activities are inseparable from Arifina's activities. She is currently listed as a member of the Indonesian Muslim group in Hong Kong and Tung Chung. Arifina is also active as a member of the Cathay Pacific Airlines Stewardess Union and a member of the University of Indonesia Alumni Association in Hong Kong.

Muhammad Imam Baihaqi

Born in Pekalongan, October 17, 1986. This Diponegoro University Chemical Engineering graduate has participated in the Management Trainee program at Tjiwi Kimia Sinarmas Pulp and Paper in Mojokerto for 6 months in 2010.

Her love for social world led her to have a career at Dompet Dhuafa, since early 2011. Starting as a Social Program Staff and Fundraising Staff, Imam was also trusted as the Coordinator of Zakat Management Partners in Java.

His persistence and loyalty led the Imam to be trusted as a Branch Manager Dompet Dhuafa Banten (2013-2014) and Branch Managers Dompet Dhuafa Central Java (2014-2018). Since 2018, Imam has served as Branch Manager Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong.

Abdul Razak

Born in Jakarta, July 1, 1978. Graduated from the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Syarief Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta, this Betawi native built a career in the world of journalism.

Having worked in two media outlets in Indonesia for 6 years, destiny brought him to have a career in Hong Kong, since March 7 2011. In the Land of Concrete, this student who graduated from the Daar El-Qolam Islamic Boarding School, Banten, has worked in two Indonesian-language media which are quite popular. among Indonesian migrant workers.

The world of activism and social activities that he has been involved in in the country since he was a student and his background as a santri have a good place to be developed while working in Hong Kong. As well as being a journalist, Razak is also heavily involved in da'wah, social, and advocacy activities for Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong and Macau. He was noted to have been the Chairman of the Tanfidziyah Nahdlatul Ulama Hong Kong, as well as the founder and member of the Hajj Foundation Board of Directors.

Razak was also registered as a member of the Hong Kong Overseas Election Supervisory (Panwaslu) in the 2014 Election. Meanwhile, in the 2019 Election, he was trusted to become a member of the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN). In Hong Kong, Razak also worked at The Islamic Union of Hong Kong as a da'wah worker. Besides, he has also worked at the International Social Service (ISS) Hong Kong Branch.

Apart from taking on the position of Managing Editor of ddhk.org, Razak is currently actively involved in raising awareness of Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong and Macau and facilitating them to pioneer a “way back” to their homeland by starting businesses run by families in their hometowns while they still working abroad.

Setiawan Chogah

Is a writer and digital creator born in Nagari Atar, West Sumatra. The Minangkabau blood that flows in his body makes Setiawan no stranger to the tradition of migrating. In 2008, the author of a collection of short stories Last SMS he moved to Banten and worked in a country he called “The Land Where Love Scattered and Grown.

His writings that are thick with local nuances can be found in books Walk Through Boundaries (Bentang Pustaka, 2012), Gilalova (Gong Publishing, 2010), Last SMS (Andi Publishers, 2013), Wrangka (Banten Muda Kreasindo, 2018), and a number of other anthologies. The fruit of his imagination often adorns a number of magazines and newspapers such as Story Magazine, Gaul Tabloid, Indonesian Top Idol Tabloid, Tribun Jabar Daily, Haian Singgalang, Batak Post Daily, Radar Banten Daily, Sabili Magazine, Annida, and others.

Setiawan was also Agnes Davonar's personal editor in works The Last Angel (Intibook Publisher, 2013) and the story of this novel was adapted to the big screen with the same title in 2015. In 2013, he was also involved in a short film Ki Wasyid: Behind the Jihad of the Warrior 1888 made by director Darwin Mahesa with the role of Ki Ismail.

His love for Banten has made this graduate of Industrial Engineering from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University feel at home working in Negeri Jawara. Together with Irvan Hq and Rizal Fauzi, he helped birth the media in the biem.co network and was appointed Editor-in-Chief in 2016.
