This is the law, the postulate of fasting Monday and Thursday

What is the ruling on fasting on Mondays and Thursdays?

ANSWER:
One of the sunnah fasts is fasting Monday and Thursday. This fast is carried out every week on these two days. Its virtue can erase mistakes and elevate degrees, and indeed these two days are when deeds are raised before Allah so it is very good to fast at that time.

The Proof of Fasting Monday & Thursday

From 'Aisyah radhiyallahu 'anha, he said,

Amen.

"The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam used to choose fasting on Mondays and Thursdays." (HR. An Nasai no. 2362 and Ibnu Majah no. 1739. All Hafizh Abu Thohir said that this hadith is hasan. Shaykh Al Albani said that this hadith is authentic)

Usama bin Zaid said,

“I said to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, “O Messenger of Allah, you are seen fasting to the point where it is thought that there is no time for you not to fast. You also look like you're not fasting, to the extent that it's thought you've never fasted. Except for the two days that you meet him and fast at that time." The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam asked, "What are these two days?" Usamah replied, "Monday and Thursday." Then he said, "These two days are when the practice is presented to the Lord of the Worlds (to Allah). I really like it when my deeds are presented while I am fasting." (HR. An Nasai no. 2360 and Ahmad 5: 201. Al Hafizh Abu Thohir said that this hadith is hasan).

From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"Various practices are presented (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays, so I like it when my deeds are presented while I am fasting." (HR. Tirmidzi no. 747. At Tirmidzi said that this hadith is hasan ghorib. Al Hafizh Abu Thohir said that the sanad of this hadith is hasan. Shaykh Al Albani said that this hadith is shahih lighoirihi, that is, shahih seen from other paths).

From Abu Qotadah Al Anshori radhiyallahu 'anhu, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam was once asked about fasting on Mondays, then he replied,

God willing, God willing, God, God

"That day is the day I was born, the day I was sent or revelations were sent down for me." (HR. Muslim no. 1162)

The virtues of Monday and Thursday are generally explained in the following hadith of Abu Hurairah, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

“Heaven's doors are open on Mondays and Thursdays. Every servant who does not shirk Allah in the least will be forgiven (on that day) except someone who has a dispute (enmity) between himself and his brother. Later it will be said to them, end their affairs until they both reconcile, end their affairs until they both reconcile." (HR. Muslim no. 2565).

Hopefully the arguments above will encourage you to do good deeds and only Allah will give taufik.
