LPTQ DDHK Holds Thanksgiving for Umrah Pilgrims

ddhk travel pilgrimsDDHK News, Hong Kong - To provide prayer as well as motivation to the three students and other congregations who are leaving for the Umrah pilgrimage, the Qur'an Tilawatil Development Institute Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (LPTQ DDHK) held a thanksgiving and tausiyah, Sunday (9/3), at Tenda Putih Bawah, Victoria Park, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

The three of them - Susilowati (students from the Central LPTQ), Siti Aminah (Ustadzah LPTQ An Nur Tung Chung branch), and Ida Susiani (Ustadzah LPTQ Tsim Tsa Tsui branch) with 22 other DDHK Travel Umrah pilgrims - guided by H. Ahmad Fauzi Qosim will depart Tuesday 11 March 2014. It is planned that the congregation will be in the holy land for 10 days and return on March 20, 2014.

Apart from the congregation from the Central LPTQ who attended the celebration, there were also the members of the LPTQ branch of An Nur Tung Chung and Discovery Bay, Reni (Head of DDHK Volunteers) and Corps Da'i DDHK Ust. Genri Nuswantoro who was present as a speaker.

In his remarks representing DDHK Travel, Reni expressed his gratitude to prospective Umrah pilgrims who have entrusted their journey of worship to DDHK Travel.

In addition, he also apologized if the service was not optimal. "Hopefully all of our mistakes will not reduce the devotion of the congregation when carrying out the Umrah worship later," he said. Reni also hopes that after returning from the Umrah you will be even better personally.

He added that currently maybe only 25 people departed for Umrah via DDHK. "I hope for the next period, the congregation will increase and increase," he said.

Siti Aminah, one of the prospective Umrah pilgrims, admitted that she was unable to hide her gratitude. "The taste is mixed, so the word gratitude is not sufficient to express my gratitude," he said.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Hong Kong BMI friends of the LPTQ DDHK congregation, especially Ustadzah Melyana (Chair of the LPTQ DDHK) for all the prayers and support.

"I was both surprised and touched, at first I thought it was just a prayer together. But it turns out that it is more than just prayer, even Ustadz Cordofa also prayed," he said. "I hope that after returning to the Umrah we can spread kindness to others."

Siti also hopes that someday the big family of LPTQ DDHK can perform Umrah together. (Dwisarah / localhost / project / personal / ddhongkong.org / ddhongkong.org). *
