More than one hundred Indonesian Migrant Workers attended the Whatsapp Marketing Seminar at the Gaylord Building Wan Chai Hong Kong, Sunday (24/2). The enthusiasm of the participants was extraordinary, because when the registration was opened, it was only two days after the quota of the participants was immediately full.
The event with the theme Side Business of Millions of Results was held in collaboration with DD Hong Kong, Umar Usman Business Campus, and DD Corporate University. GM DD Hong Kong Imam Baihaqi said that the purpose of this event was to provide motivation and provision for BMIs in selling online via WhatsApp.
"Through this training, we hope that all friends when they return to Indonesia can sell online with WhatsApp. Even if you don't have a product to sell, we are ready to facilitate the product", Said Imam.
The Chancellor of the Business Campus Umar Usman also explained that the potential for side business through WhatsApp is very large. "Nowadays who doesn't use WhatsApp, everyone uses WhatsApp all the time. Then we will teach you how to make money from WhatsApp", Explained Asep.
The material was filled by Agus Subagio or more familiarly known as Mr Go. He is also the vice chancellor of the Umar Usman Business Campus. The material presented was about practical procedures for selling online only through WhatsApp, starting from product selection, the type of cellphone to use, the use of whatsapp features and also the right times to sell. Mr Go also invited participants to practice using their WhatsApp immediately.
The participants were very enthusiastic, especially since they also provided various interesting door prizes. Mr. Go said that even after the event, participants could have online consultations through the WhatsApp group that had been created.
