DDHK.ORG - His full name is Very Setiyawan. Usually called Very. He was born in Batang, Central Java, May 20, 1983.
The first child of four children was raised in a very humble family. His father, Abidun, is a private employee at a textile company in Batang. While his mother, Sugiyati, is a housewife.
Since childhood, Very has always been a class star at his school and has often won competitions in subjects up to the Central Java level. Studying at the Islamic boarding school was his dream from a young age.
Since graduating from elementary school, Very studied at Al-Mukmin Islamic Boarding School, Ngruki, Surakarta, for 3 years. The next pesantren he went to was the Takhassus Islamic Boarding School in Pekalongan and graduated as the best student. During his study in Pekalongan, he also often participated and won the MTQ in the field of khot naskhi.
He completed his undergraduate education at the Sharia Faculty of LIPIA Jakarta. He then completed his postgraduate degree in the Sharia Department of IAIN Pekalongan.
The husband of Novitasari and father of two children is actively teaching Arabic at Faculty of Sharia IAIN Pekalongan. In addition, he is also actively working as a social worker and da'wah at the Pekalongan City Education and Human Resource Development Foundation (YP2SI). He also serves as the Sharia Council at the Zakat and Waqf Institution in the city.
He often fills national-based scientific seminars. One of them, with the theme "Building a Creative Arabic Learning Foundation to Improve Language Ability for Humans".
One of the international seminars he delivered had the theme "اللغة العربية و جوابها إلى تحديات الزمان" (Arabic in Responding to the Challenges of the Age) in 2014. He was also a translator at a talk show on the theme of the Tahfizhul Qur'an delivered by Dr. Kamil El-Laboudy and his two sons, Tabarak and Yazid, from Egypt in 2017.
Another experience, namely having served as a Liaison Officer at the Sufi International Conference event in April 2019 in Pekalongan City which was attended by large scholars from various parts of the world. He is also busy as a judge in various Islamic competitions between students and students, especially Arabic calligraphy and speech competitions. Both at the city level to the trans island, such as Java and Madura.
He is very active in Islamic da'wah studies in mosques, offices, companies, cities and remote villages. Many of his lecture recordings have been shared on social media pages such as Facebook, Youtube, and so on.
