Dompet Dhuafa Hold a Prayer with the Hong Kong TKI

Themed "From Hong Kong to Indonesia", Dompet Dhuafa organizing dhikr, tausiyah and prayer events for the nation. The green grass field in Victoria Park Causeway Bay witnessed the presence of hundreds of Indonesian citizens (WNI) in Hong Kong at the event which took place (27/1) smoothly and solemnly.

Quoted from KBK News, most of the participants came from various Indonesian migrant worker organizations (PMI) in Hong Kong.

As the Chairman of DD Hong Kong, Imam Baihaqi stated in his remarks that the basis of this activity was to knit together the ukhuwwah of fellow Muslims and children of the nation at a time when differences were becoming increasingly prominent, either in the interpretation of religion or because of different political views.

"It may be different, but ukhuwwah is still maintained, especially as Indonesian citizens who are far from our families".

Then he added,

"As the new Head of DD Hong Kong branch, we hope that there will always be a synergy between DD Hong Kong, who is currently 15 years old and Indonesian citizens organizations and other Hong Kong or Macau communities both in service programs, da'wah, advocacy, and empowerment for the purpose. we migrate to Hong Kong not only looking for coffers but also participating in the spread of Islam, sharing with others, and joint efforts to be successful overseas, independent in our own country.

Followed by a motivational and sharing event "Caring for Asa" with Maya Sita, GM Human Capital Dompet Dhuafa, who is also a psychologist.

As well as Taushiyah and Zikir together with Ust Ahmad Fauzi Qosim, the secretary of the DD Sharia Council at the same time conveying the general stadium Ziswaf Course and the Daiyah Ulil Albab School which were attended by representatives of the organization's heads and volunteers which will be held in January-March 2019 and assisted by Dai Cordofa, this program is a continuation of the DDHK 2012 program in broadcasting ziswaf da'wah (zakat, infaq, alms, and waqf) and Daiyah regeneration among migrant workers.

At the end of the session the event was closed with a prayer for the nation and the Islamic world as well as PMI friends who were sick by Ust H Ali Makmun, who was a preacher from a representative of Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong as well as a symbolic handover of humanitarian funds amounting to HKD 40.000 or Rp. 72 million raised by volunteers and representatives of organizations to relieve disaster victims in various regions in the country through Dompet Dhuafa.
