Dai Never Lonely Alone

It's not about the Indonesian Consulate General, but it's about friendship that never last.

The story is that I was invited to join me on Friday at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) while conveying a mandate (entrusted) from officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia for their staff who were still in Hong Kong. When we arrived at the KJRI Mushalla (read: mosque), we met expatriates from Kazakhstan who participated in Friday prayers at the RI representative office. Officials, preachers, imams and other Indonesian people meet and greet each other here. I saw a face that was so familiar, I just hesitated to say hello. After all, it's already Zuhr time, and the preacher will be on the pulpit in a few minutes.

After the prayers were over, I uploaded the photo I had taken before going up to the fourth floor, in front of the words "Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia - Hong Kong" Eh, an official called my name doubtfully. "Mas Sukron ...!" Suddenly we were both dumbfounded. In fact, the world is as wide as moringa leaves. Immediately we take selfies to capture the rare togetherness.

I immediately got down, waiting for Mrs. Tina, PMI (Indonesian migrant worker) who headed Majlis Ta'lim Roudhatul Hidayah Hong Kong, who wanted to pick me up to complete the Zuhur study at Victoria Park. Uh, another familiar face that I haven't had time to greet. Finally… snap!

It is true what Ibn al-Munkadir said, which I have read in the famous book Ihya 'Ulumuddin by al-Ghazali, that there are 3 (three) pleasures of heaven left in this world: night prayers, congregational prayers and meeting friends ( long).

The 21st floor of the RI representative office building located in Causeway Bay, one of the city centers of Hong Kong, is a witness that every heart has a tunnel. "Del be del tanah land", says the Persian proverb. Testimonials that the da'wah ambassadors will never be lonely wherever they are. Old brothers and friends are everywhere. []
