HONG KONG - The Hong Kong government, today (27/7/2019), issued an announcement "very hot weather warning". Hong Kong residents, including Indonesian migrant workers and Indonesian citizens who are working, living and residing in Hong Kong, are asked to be aware of the harsh weather.
“The Hong Kong Observatory has issued a Very Hot Weather Warning. To prevent heatstroke, avoid activities with a long duration of time outdoors, ”said an announcement made through the official website of the Government of Hong Kong, GovHK.
"The risk of being exposed to heatstroke is very high," the Hong Kong Observatory stressed.
The government appealed to residents who today are forced to do work or outdoor activities to wear wide hats and loose, colorful clothes.
"Stay in the shade as long as possible," the government appealed.
Added with the advice, "Drink lots of water, and avoid drinks containing caffeine or alcohol. If you feel sick, consult a doctor immediately. " [DDHKNews]
