DDHK.ORG - As an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, Hong Kong requires residents who have just arrived from abroad to self-quarantine for 14 days at hotels. Including, this also applies to foreign nationals holding HKID who work in Hong Kong, and have just arrived from their home country.
The Hong Kong Government's official handling of Covid-19 website, coronavirus.gov.hk, publishes a list of 18 referral hotels. It states on the website that these hotels comply with the “Health Advice on Prevention of COVID-19 for the Hotel Industry” published by the Ministry of Health. It also noted that the listed hotels include those referred to by the Hong Kong Hotel Association and the Hong Kong Hotel Owners Federation, as well as individual hotels that participate directly.
The ECO Tree Causeway Bay hotel, which is included in the list, for example, on the front page of its official website, displays three Covid-19 alerts. That is:
1. All service staff members will wear masks for the safety of the guests. We ask for your understanding.
2. Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us, and we have taken steps to ensure that all facilities are properly cleaned.
3. Please contact our front desk if you require assistance of any kind. The safety and comfort of our guests is our top priority. Please note that management reserves the right to refuse guests who feel unwell.
