Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

Ana has permission to ask Ustadz, what prayers should be read when our friends/friends have been called Allah, so that Allah can forgive him?

Before he died he experienced koma for six days.

Thank you Ustadz.

Greetings, Fulanah

As fellow Muslims and believers, we must pray for one another. Because the good prayers that we pray to Allah for our fellow Muslims will actually return to those of us who pray.

The command to pray for fellow Muslims is not only addressed to those who are still alive, but also to those who have died. This is in accordance with the words of Allah Subhanahu wata'ala:

الَّذِيْنَ اۤءُوْ لُوْنَ ا اغْفِرْ لَنَا لِاِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِيْنَ ا الْاِيْمَانِ لَا لْ لُوْبِنَا لًّا لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا اِنَّكَ رَءُوْفٌ {سورة الحشر: }

"And those who came after them (Emigrants and Ansar), they prayed, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who have believed before us, and do not plant envy in our hearts against the people who believe. Our Lord, Truly, You are Most Forbearing, Most Merciful." {Surat al-Hashr: 10}

Prayer To Be Forgiven

As for the special prayers that we can say to Allah for our Muslim brothers who have died are as follows:

If the deceased is a man.

O Allah, O Allah, bless us and grant us peace

If the one who dies is a woman

The above prayer means:

"O Allah, forgive and have mercy, set free, release my parents. And glorify his dwelling place, widen the entrance, cleanse my parents with clear and cool water, and cleanse my parents from all faults like white clothes that are clean from dirt. And replace his abode with a better place than the one he left behind, and a better family than the one he left behind. Enter my parents into heaven, and protect them from the torment of the grave and its slander, and the torment of the fire of hell."

In addition to the prayers as above, we can also pray to Allah for the deceased/deceased, as in the example below.

"I ask forgiveness from Allah the Most Great, for me, for my parents, for all the believing men and women and Muslim men and women, both those who are alive and those who have died, and I repent to Him (Allah).”

As for the illness experienced by the deceased or the deceased before he dies, God willing, the illness can be an eraser for him from the sins that have been committed, so that his sins have been forgiven by Allah Subhanahu wata'ala in his death. Amen O 'Lord of the Worlds.

Hope it works!

Peace, mercy and blessings of God
