Has the degree of our piety reached the standard to enter Heaven?

By: Ustadz Abdul Muhaemin Karim

Presented at the KJRI Hong Kong DWP Al-Falah Recitation, 28 October 2020, in the Seminar Room Ammar Mosque, Wan Chai.

Recitation done by tadabbur on several verses Alquran.

First, the tadabbur verse 17 of the At-Tur letter

"Surely those who fear are in heaven and enjoyment."

  • The friends when reading this verse read it many times, wondering if they belong to this group?
  • Have I reached the standard for going to heaven?
  • While continuing to hope to become and be included in the class of the inhabitants of heaven as explained by this verse.

Second, tadabbur verses 8-20 Surah At Tur

“No one can resist, on a day when the sky really shakes, and the mountains do walk. Then it is a big accident that day for those who deny, (namely) those who play in ignorance, on the day they are pushed to Hell of Hell with all their might. (Said to them): “This is the hell that you used to deny. Then is this magic? Or don't you see? Enter you into it (feel the heat of the fire); then whether you are patient or not, it is the same for you; you are rewarded for what you have done. Surely those who fear are in heaven and enjoyment, they are delighted with what is given to them by their Lord; and their Lord keeps them from hell. (Said to them): "Eat and drink well in return for what you have done." They lay down on a row of cots and We married them to beautiful jelly-eyed angels. "

  • For those who enter heaven, they will enter with great joy and joy.
  • And Allah SWT said: eat and drink deliciously.
  • The inhabitants of heaven leaned over the arranged cots.
  • And Allah SWT gave them a pair of beautiful-eyed angel / angel.
  • "It is best if humans are long-lived and good at charity.
  • The worst of humans are those who live long and behave badly. "

Third, tadabbur verse 21 of Surah At-Tur

"And those who believe, and whose children and grandchildren follow them in faith, We connect their children and grandchildren with them, and We do not deduct one bit from their charity. Every human being is bound by what he does. "

  • In heaven, Allah SWT guarantees that we will be reunited with our zuriaat: our children and grandchildren, our ancestors, who are based on faith and faith.
  • Lessons learned from the story of the famous Ulama: Al Barsisha
  • The story of Al Barsisha, a scholar who is known as an expert in worship, whose worship is extraordinary, then came the devil and the devil tempted him. This demon then disguised himself as a young man who diligently worshiped at the place where Barsisha worshiped. This demon, disguised as a young man, worships diligently and solemnly that even exceeds Barsisha. Barsisha was disturbed, and wanted to learn from the young man the secret of how he could worship so solemnly and well. Satan also got a chance, tempted Barsisha to be tempted to drink liquor. This devil-incarnate young man said that was the key to his worship. Finally, after getting drunk and addicted to alcohol, Barsisha was whispered by the devil to commit adultery, until the woman became pregnant. Then after the woman became pregnant, this young man who was a demon then persuaded Barsisha to kill the child in the womb and the Barsisah also killed the child.
  • Piles of mistakes and sins committed by Barsisha because of being seduced by the devil. Barsisha also faces severe punishment. Once upon a time, Barsisha was sentenced to be crucified. When Barsisha was about to be crucified, the devil incarnate young man appeared back. Seeing the young man, Barsisha asked him for help. The young man says he will be able to help Barsisha from Barsisha want to bow to him. Barsisha agrees to prostrate. When Barsisha prostrated, he too died. Died in kufr.
  • The wisdom that we can take from this story is that we must be istiqomah to face temptations. Obey the prohibitions of Allah SWT.
  • Those who can defend their faith will be gathered with their families as long as they maintain their faith in heaven.
  • The hadith of the Prophet: whoever walks out of his house to the assembly of knowledge, Allah SWT will facilitate his path to heaven.
  • We may double the intention. For example: when you go to majelis taklim, double your intentions, recite the Koran, make friends, learn recitation, etc.
  • Everyone is tied to their respective deeds of worship.

Fourth, tadabbur verse 22 of the At-Tur letter

"And We supplement them with fruit and meat of all kinds that they desire."

  • The guarantee of the best fruits, meat and food from Allah SWT to the inhabitants of heaven. Suited whatever you want.

Fifth, tadabbur verse 23 of the At-Tur letter

"In heaven they are fighting over cups (glasses) whose contents do not (give rise to) useless words and there is no sin."

  • In heaven are provided glasses whose contents are not intoxicating, will not cause useless speech or cause sinful acts. Not only that, all the dirt that results from digestion while in heaven will become fragrant sweat that exceeds the smell of musk.

Sixth, tadabbur verse 24 of the At-Tur letter

"And going around around them young children to (serve) them, as if they were a stored pearl."

  • The inhabitants of heaven who will later serve, and are surrounded by young men.

Seventh, tadabbur verses 19-20 surah An-Najm, "So is it right that you (O polytheists) consider al Lata and al Uzza, and Manah the third, the most later (as daughters of Allah)?"

  • Regarding idols. In this verse, the idols are named: al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat. This verse questions why the polytheists worship these idols and make them allies of Allah SWT, even though these idols are of no benefit.

The recitation also discusses the letter Al-Ikhlash

  • Asbabun-Nuzul or the reason for the revelation of this letter is a question from the disbelievers and polytheists, "What is your God like Muhammad? How does it look and shape? "
  • To answer this, Allah SWT commissioned the angel Jibril to bring the answer to this question.
  • At that time the Prophet Muhammad SAW was in Mecca. Jibril met the Prophet in Mecca and introduced himself to the Prophet as the messenger of revelation. To convey to you, Muhammad, the answers to the questions that are asked of you.
  • Yes Rasullallah (Jibril said), here is the answer:
  • Surat Al-Ikhlas, verse 1: Allah SWT is one, singular, ahad. Cannot be shared. The only Allah SWT is not the same as the only world. What cannot be divided. If there are non-Muslims who ask about your god, the answer is Al-Ikhlash.
  • Surat Al-Ikhlas, verse 2: Allah SWT is the place to ask for everything. Allah SWT is Most Rich.
  • Surat Al-Ikhlas, verse 3: Allah SWT does not procreate. Islam clarifies by bringing down this verse. God is not childless, and begotten.
  • Surat Al-Ikhlas, verse 4: Allah SWT cannot be matched and comparable. Whether in the form of His essence, His power, the duration of Allah SWT's power cannot be compared to that in the world. [DDHK News]
