Volunteer Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) held a welcoming ceremony for the arrival of the new General Manager of DDHK, Ustadz Ahmad Fauzi Qosim, and the release of Ustadz Boy Mareta, Ustadz Sigit Yulianta, Zhizhii Siregar, and two DDHK Volunteers who will return to the ground at Tenda Putih-Victoria Park, Sunday 8 January 2012.
The event began with reading the literature by the LPTQ DDHK Team, Badriyah Becce, a welcoming poem for GM DDHK by Umi Amaniah who represented all DDHK volunteers, then remarks from the Ulil Albab team, the LPAM Team, and IPMH.
In his remarks, Ustadz Boy said that he was very happy that his presence at DDHK had been able to provide benefits to friends of Indonesian Migrant Workers in Hong Kong (BMI HK). He also admitted that he had a lot of experience or learned many things from friends of BMI HK.
By reading two of his poetry works, Ustadz Boy conveyed his impression while in Hong Kong. Its verses carry a deep meaning. Ustadz Sigit Yulianta said the same thing. He added, this HK BMI is very great and extraordinary.
"I salute my friends BMI HK. They have been working and with all their limitations they can still be tolerant, patient, and sincere in carrying out Allah's commands, "he explained.
Adzimattinur Siregar alias Butet, who was an intern at the advocacy unit of DDHK, advised the friends at Iqro Shelter to keep their spirits up. The daughter of the famous novelist Pipiet Senja also wants to see them succeed just like their other friends. He felt very salute to them, even though they were sad and had problems, they still smiled cheerfully.
