DDHK News, Hong Kong - The Bustanul 'Ulum Tuen Mun Organization (BMI Hong Kong) commemorates its third anniversary, Sunday (16/3/2014), by holding a thanksgiving and recitation with Ustadzah Sri Vira Chandra (dai'yah Cordofa DDHK from Jakarta) with the theme "Three Consequences of Faith".
"In order for knowledge to become charity, we must put it in our right ear, keep it in our hearts, think about it, and practice it everyday," said Ustadzah Sri in front of 47 congregations of BMI Hong Kong.
He stated, there are three elements of faith, namely being justified with the heart, spoken orally, shown by deeds. "The consequences of a believer are tests, sacrifices, and istiqomah," he said.
Ustadzah Sri also explained that people who are tested by Allah SWT will be elevated. The test from Allah is in the form of pain and happiness.
Testing requires sacrifices - sacrifices of feelings, time, energy, and circumstances. "For example, if we leave our family, we separate from them, because we work in Hong Kong to seek capital for the future of our children and families," he said.
Ustadzah Sri Vira also described her rights as a wife. "Actually we are a woman, wife and housewife. Our task should be at home, educating children, so if we are here (Hong Kong), we must have a target and return to our homeland as soon as possible, and carry out our real duties, namely as wives, "he concluded.
