Sunday, May 12, 2019. It means, I am already on the fourth day of being part of the Dai Ambassador, in the da'wah program in Hong Kong, in a country known as the Land of Concrete.
Alhamdulillah, I am still given extraordinary health and enjoyment from Allah Ta'ala, so that on the fourth day I can stay in touch with “foreign exchange heroes” and “Indonesian heroines” who are willing to sacrifice many things for one goal: family welfare. The experience of filling an unusual ta'lim becomes a separate experience that is unforgettable at any time.
On the fourth day, I am with the volunteers Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong make visits to local residents' nursing homes. Masyaallah, their enthusiasm is extraordinary, even though we only bring simple souvenirs.
Mba Umi Fadah, one of the volunteers entertained them by singing Mandarin songs. They were happy and sang along. Seeing them, without feeling tears dripping, thought of grandparents who had passed away.
After that the journey continues to a Muslim nursing home. Since it was already late in the afternoon, thank God the delegation of the Taklim Council Bustanul Ulum picked him up, because the study site was not too far from the Muslim nursing home we visited in the Tuen Mun area.
An unusual place as a recitation location: In the middle of a garden with a beautiful view, makes today's study so special. Moreover, the trip to Tuen Mun is quite far, plus a walk around Hong Kong. Hopefully when you come back from Hong Kong you will be thinner.
Thank you O Allah for Your destiny! Thank you Cordofa (Corps Dai Dopet Dhuafa) for giving the opportunity. Hopefully the PMI santri (Indonesian migrant workers) here Allah will make everything easy for them, Allah will determine their faith and Islam, and hopefully they will quickly gather with their families at home.
