- Growing Fear of Allāh
Rasa Takut is the most noble practice of the heart and the most beneficial practice for the heart and this fear is obligatory for everyone:
فلا تخافوهم وخافوني إن كنتم مؤمنين
Do not be afraid of them, fear Me if you are believers (QS, Ali-'Imran 175).
- Cultivating Allāh's Supervision in the Soul
Allāh's supervision includes the practice of the heart, and when it stays in the heart and is always in the heart it will convey to the degree of IKHSAN, which is the highest level of religion.
Ihsan is: "You worship Allāh as if you see Him, so if you don't see Him, Allāh sees you" (HR, Bukhari 50 & Muslim 9).
This Allāh supervision will result in taqwa to Allāh in secret and openly.
So among the influences of taqwa to Allāh, you will feel among them the exaltation of those who are respected in the sight of Allāh, and carrying out what is required of Allāh.
Proximity of Allāh with the cause of joy, pleasure, immortality with Allāh.
This is a very big influence for a servant when he always obeys Allah and istiqomah over his religion.
Other scholars such as Sheikh Wahbah Az Zuhaili in Tasfri Al Munir explained, the secret behind this prohibition is so that pilgrims remember that pilgrimage to Baitullah is actually going to Allah Ta'ala, so that he escapes from his habits and luxuries. leaving symbols of pride that distinguish it from other people, so that the rich and the poor are the same, the common people are similar to the rulers, and all humans of all levels wear costumes like the costumes of the dead (Juz 1, page 445).
From the description of Shaykh Wahbah Az-Zuhaili, it can be seen that the main lesson from the prohibition is that every person who performs Hajj eliminates the inherent pride in him. There is no difference between rich and poor, kings or commoners, all of them are servants of the same level before Allah Ta'ala. Wallaahu a'lam.
