This woman who is commonly known as Vivi and now named Islam Fatimah reads two sentences of the creed under the guidance of Usatdz Arief Wahyudi, Director of the Indonesian Muslim Association in Hong Kong (IMAH), in front of the Daiyah DDHK School participants and witnessed by Ustadz Donny Meilano, who was invited DDHK to Hong Kong from Palembang, South Sumatra. Shortly after converting to Islam, this 25-year-old convert woman who has worked at Yuen Long since 2016 wrote a letter to DDHK, telling the chronology and revealing her reasons for converting to Islam. He also shared a short story of his journey to convert to Islam through his personal Facebook post, Vii Mayang (Fatimah).

"I am Vivi (Fatimah) to thank DDHK who has helped me become a Muslimah. First, I want to share (stories) why I want to convert to Islam and how I got to know DDHK. In the past, I was a Christian. The beginning I wanted to convert to Islam was based on my heart's desire since three years ago. But at that moment I felt disappointed because no one could help and help.support me. Alhamdulillah, this time I have strong support. I really want to know Allah, "he said.
"Then I tried to find out, and found DDHK from my friend. Because he gave one result image screenshot there was information on DDHK in there, so I decided to do a search on Facebook and try to send a message. Alhamdulillah, I got a very good response when I sent the message. Another reason why I want to embrace Islam is because I happened to have a Muslim soul mate. He is a very good figure. He also encouraged me to learn about Islam. And on March 10, 2019, I came to the DDHK office. There I was touched because I was welcomed so well, ”said Vivi.
"I told you all my intentions and goals in coming to the DDHK office because I wanted to become a Muslim woman. Until finally I was met with an ustadz who guided me to say two sentences of the shahada. After reciting it, I legally became a Muslimah. At that time my heart trembled and I cried.
