In his sermon, Ustadz Sukron said that Muslims are often unable to practice the essence of Allahu Akbar's words which are always uttered during prayers. "We often say Allahu Akbar, but in practice we often glorify those who are not big (creatures) and belittle the Great (al-Khaliq)," he said.
Ustadz Sukron also reminded Muslims to be careful in chanting takbir, especially when it comes to the sentence "mukhlishina lahu ad-din even though kariha al-Kafirun". “Do not add to the unusual word 'munafiqun'. Even if you add to it, it is enough to add 'musyrikun', it becomes 'even though kariha al-musyrikun', because those two words are mentioned in the Koran, "he said again.
