The reason is that Kampoeng Restaurant is located in Causeway Bay and is now a window for the diversity of Indonesian culinary delights in Hong Kong. In addition, Causeway Bay is the largest retail center on Hong Kong Island. In fact, Causeway Bay is considered equivalent to the Fifth Avenue shopping center in New York, United States.

"Today I met with Diaspora at Warung Kampoeng in Hong Kong's Causeway Bay, where Indonesian MSME products are curated and distributed," said Sandiaga Uno in an official statement.

"So that it has an economic impact on MSMEs, both in Hong Kong and also (MSMEs) that export from Indonesia," he explained.

On this occasion, Sandiaga Uno who was accompanied by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong, Ricky Suhendar and Kampoeng Restaurant Owner, Chandra Wahyudi toured the Causeway Bay area.

He saw a number of restaurants and shops belonging to the Indonesian diaspora bustling with buyers.

This was revealed by Sandiaga Uno as evidence that Hong Kong residents admire various products of the creative economy, from culinary to fashion owned by the nation's children.

"We are very supportive, because this is part of the grassroots economic movement which we target will create up to 4,4 million jobs," said Sandiaga Uno.

Therefore, he invited all parties to strive to stimulate the nation's economy. Especially for national creative economy actors to be able to improve quality in order to penetrate the world market.

"We must really fight for the people's economy, society is now recovering after the pandemic, to support the economy we must provide as many opportunities as possible for MSMEs to penetrate the international market," said Sandiaga Uno.
