A total of 69 Positive Corona Cases in Indonesia, 4 Died

JAKARTA | INDONESIA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) announced additional data on positive Corona patients. In total, there are 4 patients who die per day.

"The patient experienced worsening to death," said a spokesman for the government for handling Corona, Achmad Yurianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Friday (13/3/2020), as reported by detik.com.

There were 3 patients who died in today's announcement, namely cases 35, 36, 50. Patients 35 and 36 died at RSPI Sulianti Saroso. Both are known to have entered the RSPI in poor health and on a ventilator.

Yuri did not mention the location where the patient's case 50 died. However, if it is matched with data on gender and age, case 50 is suspected of being a patient who died at Moewardi Hospital, Solo.

Previously, patient case 25, a British citizen, died in Bali. The four victims, respectively aged 53, 57, 37, and 59 years.

On that occasion, Achmad Yurianto also released the number of positive patients with the Corona virus in Indonesia to 69 cases. The amount was obtained based on the results of contact tracking or contact tracing of previous patients.

According to Afini, the research aims to assist government steps in dealing with cases of the corona virus. Especially pressing the infection rate in the next two months.

Furthermore, Afini stated that Indonesia would be able to suppress the spread of the corona virus if the government made maximum efforts in prevention and control.
