DDHK Gives Donation to Hong Kong BMIs for Erwiana

bmi's donation to erwianaDDHK News, Hong Kong -  Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) handed over the Hong Kong BMI assistance fund of HK $ 52.107 to Erwiana Sulistyaningsih, a BMI who was persecuted by her employer, Wednesday (22/1). Funds were handed over directly by the Coordinator of the Crisis Center Migrant Institute (CCMI) DD Nursalim Center to Erwiana's family as education funds to help Erwiana realize her dreams.

According to the Executive Director of the Migrant Institute Dompet Dhuafa, Adi Chandra Utama, MI Dompet Dhuafa committed to realizing Erwiana's ideals by providing educational donations.

Not only that, said Adi, MI Dompet Dhuafa also committed to improving the economic life of Erwiana's family so that they are not trapped in a cycle of poverty. Moreover, Erwiana admitted that she was traumatized and did not want to return to being a migrant worker.
