This is the New HKID Replacement Schedule for Births 1970-1972

DDHK.ORG - Department Hong Kong Immigration, Monday (19/10/2020), announced the schedule for HKID reimbursement or filing an application SmartID Cards new for residents born in 1970, 1971, or 1972.That is, from November 2, 2020 to April 30, 2021.

"Hong Kong residents born in 1970, 1971 or 1972 must apply for a new Smart ID Card at the Smart Identity Card Replacement Center from November 2 to April 30 next year, the Immigration Department announced today," the Hong Kong Government announced, via its official website, news.gov.hk, Monday.

For ordering or booking the manufacturing schedule can be done online. Either through the Immigration Department's mobile application or by calling the 24-hour hotline at 21211234.

Smart Identity Card Replacement Center or HKID Card Replacement Center is only open six days a week. Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm. The HKID Card Replacement Center is closed on Sundays and holidays.

Hong Kong residents, including Indonesian citizens who live and work in the country, who come to apply for a new Smart ID must bring the HKID they currently have. When arriving, it is allowed to bring two family or friends with disabilities or a relative aged 65 years. "For citizens born in 1962 to 1963, the period for changing their identity cards will end on January 30, 2021," wrote the Hong Kong Government. [DDHK News]
