HONG KONG - The Health Protection Center (CHP) reported 4 new positive cases of corona virus infection on Sunday (12/4/2020). This figure is the lowest addition of daily cases in almost a month, since mid-March.

The locally infected case was a 63 year old woman who had close contact with another patient. Previously, there were 11 cases on Saturday (11/4/2020), with a total of 1.000 cases in the Land of Concrete.
Despite the sharp drop in the addition of daily cases, CHP's Infectious Diseases Branch Chief, Chuang Shuk-kwan, argued that the government's ban on gatherings of more than four people and other restrictions should be extended beyond its expiration date, April 23. He noted that the recent lower case count reflects a decline in arriving tourists in recent weeks and that the previous cluster transmission was under control. But he repeated his warning that the situation was not under control.
