The program was started by the LPM team Dompet Dhuafa from the outskirts of Bintaro, South Jakarta, last weekend. As many as 20 beneficiary households in the area received coupons that could be used to exchange rice and side dishes at the nearest warteg from their place of residence.
The coupon is valid periodically for 3 days. In a day, they get 3 meals. How to use it, it's quite easy, you only need to bring the coupon to Warteg that has become a partner Dompet Dhuafa. Then, fill in the data in the coupon and the food is ready to be taken home by the beneficiaries.
Previously, the beneficiaries were surveyed by the LPM team Dompet Dhuafa. Furthermore, those who meet the criteria will immediately receive the coupon.
Sucipto (73), who works as a television repairman daily, admitted that during the Corona pandemic, his income decreased drastically. It has been two weeks that no one has used his services, which ultimately has a direct impact on economic income.

Assistance is distributed to groups vulnerable to the Corona virus (Covid-19). They include day traders, odd jobs, widows, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups.
Not only helping those who are less fortunate, this program also empowers the residents around the places where the food aid recipients live. Of the 15 types of basic food items included in the aid package, most of them were obtained from nearby stalls that were also affected by the corona.
"Not only helping vulnerable groups affected by the corona, we are also trying to empower small shops that are quiet because of the corona," said Ahmad Fitrah, coordinator of the program "Assistance of 1.000 Food Packages".
One of the stalls that got a splash of fortune from the food donation is Beni, who started his grocery shop in 2014. The presence of the corona outbreak is a difficult time for his shop.
