TSIM SHA TSUI | HONG KONG - Four assemblies show cohesiveness, always holding recitation together every three months or quarter. On Sunday (21/7/2019), the quarterly recitation was held at Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui, the headquarters of the TST Muslimah Al-Fadlilah Forum (FMA) assembly.
"This quarterly recitation program is our way of gluing together Islamic ukuwah among the assembly members," said Kristiana, former chairman of the Al-Fadlilah Muslimah Forum assembly.
Apart from Al-Fadlilah, this quarterly recitation was also attended by the Mei Foo Muslimah Council (M3), the Al-Karimah Tai Wo Hau assembly, and the Al-Hidayah Kwai Fong assembly. "The place for the prayer ceremony every three months is in accordance with the previously agreed schedule, namely each assembly will have a turn," said Kristiana.
Besides being filled with tausiyah activities delivered by the General Manager Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK), Ustadz Imam Baihaqi, the fourth quarter recitation of the assembly which was attended by about 50 congregations was also enlivened by activities of shalawat and hadrah competitions.
On this occasion, Ustadz Imam Baihaqi delivered a tausiyah about the history and details of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Qurban or Eid al-Adha. He conveyed the hadith about the prayer of angels which was confirmed by the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam when he finished the Eid prayer.
