DDHK and UIN Surabaya Collaborate to Send KKN Students to Hong Kong

CAUSEWAY BAY | HONG KONG - Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) and the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Friday (19/7/2019), signed a cooperation agreement to send students for the international Real Work Lecture (KKN) program, at the DDHK office, in Causeway Bay.

The signing was carried out by the General Manager of DDHK, Imam Baihaqi, together with the Deputy Chancellor of UIN Surabaya Dr. Wahidah Siregar and Officials of the International Office of UIN Surabaya, Dr. Kamal Yusuf. The cooperation will be realized next month.

"As a realization of the collaboration, UIN Surabaya will send six students in August to join the KKN program to Hong Kong. They will do their service here for a full month, ”said Imam Baihaqi.

After the signing, officials of the two institutions held an audience with the Indonesian Consulate General in Hong Kong. The group was received by the Acting Consul General Mandala S. Purba and the Young Consul for Information, Socio-Culture Fajar Kurniawan.

UIN Sunan Ampel Rector officials also took the time to visit the DDHK shelter which is also located in Causeway Bay. In addition, Dr. Wahidah and Dr. Kamal also made observations in assemblies and the Indonesian community in Hong Kong.[]
