Distribute the Hygine Kit to Ojol and the Merchant

The arrival of the Covid-19 or corona outbreak has paralyzed the economic movement of the community. For office workers, they can still get the opportunity to work from home or often known as Work From Home (WFH). They don't need to worry about reduced income.

But not for some professions that demand to continue to interact and earn a fortune. Most of them work in the informal sector, such as traders, motorcycle taxis, public transportation drivers, and so on. Therefore, Dompet Dhuafa initiated the Corona Blocking (Preventing) Program, by distributing hygine kits to these vulnerable groups. Those who are forced to keep going out to earn a living, of course, need more protection.

“Today, we distributed hygine kits to vulnerable groups. They cannot work from home. Because work forces them to keep interacting with other people, ”explained Roby Suryadi, Deputy Chair of the Covid-19 Response Dompet Dhuafa, Tuesday (24/3/2020).

Driven by Free Health Services (LKC) Dompet Dhuafa, the team distributed hygine kits in vulnerable places such as terminals, intersections and motorcycle taxi stands. The distribution of hygine kits includes masks, handsanitizers, hand washing soap, and also flyers for a healthy lifestyle during the corona outbreak. This becomes a starter pack for vulnerable groups to minimize the possibility of contracting the virus.

"This is to minimize the transmission of the virus, because they have to keep interacting with people," added Roby.
