DDHK.ORG - Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) again sent aid to the people of the Gaza Strip, Palestine, who recently became victims of Israeli military aggression attacks. This time, the aid was sent through the Muslim Council Hong Kong (MCHK).
"Apart from sending donations to Palestine through Dompet Dhuafa Central, we also distribute aid through MCHK, "said General Manager of DDHK, M. Imam Baihaqi.
Imam Baihaqi submitted a grant for Palestine worth HK $ 20,000 and was received by Adeel Malik, Founder and Chairman of MCHK, at his office, at MCHK Center, which is located at Chun Wah Commerical Building, 28-30 Minden Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, Tuesday (25/5/2021). "The distribution of aid was carried out by One Ummah, a charity from the Inoted Kingdom, in the form of 2,000 hot meal packages in Gaza," said Imam.
Adeel expressed his gratitude for the donations made by the Indonesian people in Hong Kong. "Currently MCHK has collected at least HK $ 300 thousand in donations for Palestine," said Imam.
Imam hopes that the cooperation between DDHk and MCHK will continue for other programs in various other countries. "Such as the well-making program, food aid, and the distribution of sacrificial animals in countries that are in need," he said.
Previously, on Monday, May 24, 2021, DDHK also provided assistance in the form of 100 basic food packages for residents of the Gaza Strip, Palestine, through Dompet Dhuafa Center. Total, on that day Dompet Dhuafa distributed 500 food packages to Palestine through the Takween Association for Development based in a country that was ravaged by the Israeli military aggression.
