DDHK News, United States - Three young Muslims open a small halal butcher shop in Manhattan. They managed to attract hundreds of Muslim and non-Muslim consumers.
"We meet the need for clean food from a spiritual point of view," Khalid Latif, who founded the halal butcher shop "Honest Chops", told CNN last weekend.
In collaboration with two colleagues, Anas Hassan and Bassam Tariq, Latif is thinking of launching a halal butcher shop according to Islamic law in March 2014.
