“This feeling is a part of my soul, it is a part of me. One day I will meet my Creator, and today I feel much happier,” he added.
After converting to Islam, people at the Cambridge Mosque continued to congratulate him as a fellow Muslim. They also hugged Carvalho.
Meanwhile, Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens, has been a Muslim for more than 40 years. He also congratulated his media consultant, Carvalho.
Carvalho's fiancé also converted to Islam. Their families both support Carvalho and his fiancé's decision to convert to Islam.
