Volunteers from the Indonesian Teachers' School Dompet Dhuafa Ready to Serve in Remote Country

DDHK News, Indonesia - As many as 30 volunteer teachers from the Indonesian Teacher Training School (SGI) Dompet Dhuafa (DD) is ready to be deployed to serve in remote areas of the archipelago. Some of the remote areas where the 7th batch of SGI DD were assigned include Nunukan, North Kalimantan, West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Wakatobi Southeast Sulawesi, Pandeglang Banten, and Kuburaya, West Kalimantan.

"Of the 200 participants who took part in a series of test selections such as administration, mictoteaching, and interviews, thank God 30 people were successfully selected to join SGI. Dompet Dhuafa, "Said Jahidin, one of the Education Division Teams Dompet Dhuafa, Sunday (11/1).

Jahidin explained, before departing, the 30 volunteer teachers had attended an orientation period (coaching) for 4,5 months at Human Development Earth, Bogor, West Java.

Coaching is carried out intensively for 24 hours with comprehensive materials. "It is hoped that this activity will produce teachers who are competent in teaching, educating, and having social leadership spirit," he hoped.
