Chechen Muslims walk to Saudi Arabia for Hajj

Four Chechen Muslims walked from their country to Saudi Arabia for this year's Haj pilgrimage. Saudi Arabian newspaper, Al Riad, reported that they had now arrived in Jordan and were heading to the port in Saudi Arabia, Ammar. The plan was that they would go through Tabuk before starting to visit the holy places in the Holy Land.

They are Raiova Jibril, Altmirov Haran, Vitaiova Fakhrudin, and Xiaoyova Isamard. They feel happy because the desire to worship at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque will be realized soon. After a long journey since 17 June 2010, they departed from Chechnya via Azerbaijan, Iran, Syria, Turkey, and a few days ago arrived in Jordan.

“We traveled 3.400 miles. We rested just to sit, wash clothes, eat and pray, "said Jibril. "We also have one bicycle that is used interchangeably."

"We pray to Allah SWT to be able to visit the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Tomb," said Haran. (Roller).*
