One of the provisions on the application of the issue of kafarat according to the majority of scholars (majority of scholars) for people who damage the sanctity of the month of Ramadan by having marital relations is that the obligation to pay kafarat is only borne by the husband, while the wife is not obligated.
Although there are also opinions such as Maliki and Hanafi scholars who say that both husband and wife are obliged to pay kafarat, if the wife does this willingly or without coercion. As for the argument they use is qiyas, that qiyas the husband's obligations to the wife's obligations as well.
Therefore, for the wife who is related (jima ') then according to the opinion of the majority of scholars there is no obligation of kafarat, but still makes up the fast and repents so as not to repeat it again. Having sex with husband and wife (Jima') can still be done at night or at a time that is lawful for us not to fast. Wallaahu a'lam.
