DDHK News, Hong Kong - The Hong Kong Indonesian Migrant Workers Association, ATKI-HK, plans to hold a demonstration for the International Women's Day Action, Sunday 9 March 2014, with a gathering point in Causeway Bay, MTR EXIT E, 12: 00-13: 30 .
With dress code purple and white headband, the action will be held in front of the KJRI-HK and CGO-HK buildings. ATKI-HK invited Hong Kong BMIs to participate in this action.
The demands that will be voiced by the Indonesian government are to remove KTKLN, enforce Independent Contracts, remove the Prohibition of Moving Agents (Online System & SE2524), and Stop Overcharging.
To the Hong Kong government, the masses will demand the abolition of 2 weeks of visas, enter the salaries of foreign domestic workers into the UMR, make staying out an option, and Stop Overcharging.
