CAUSEWAY BAY | HONG KONG - Dai Cordofa Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK), Ustadz Talqis Nurdianto, Friday (29/11/2019) evening, filling out a study at the Indonesian Muslim Association in Hong Kong (IMAH) office, in Causeway Bay. In the study, he emphasized that the family must have the right vision, which is in line with the word of Allah Ta'ala in verse 6 of Surah At-Tahrim, "O you who believe, protect yourself and your family from the fires of hell whose fuel is human and stone."
On that occasion, Ustadz Talqis conveyed several arguments stating that the families of people who believe in Allah Ta'ala will one day reunite in heaven. For example, verse 23 of Surah Ar-Ra'du,"(Namely) heaven 'Adn which they enter into with the pious people of their fathers, wives and children and grandchildren."
"In order for the heaven reunion to be realized, parents must start by being an example for their children, so that the children will become pious and pious servants, to their offspring," said Ustadz Talqis.
In essence, in the family there must be an effort to remind each other. Wives remind husbands, husbands remind wives, parents remind children, and remind each other about the pain of Allah Ta'ala's punishment.
Ustadz Talqis also explained that husbands must always be reminded to provide lawful living to their families, keep themselves and their families away from haram livelihoods, and provide examples of obedience in the family. Meanwhile, children should always be reminded to offer prayers, practice amar makruf and nahi munkar, be patient with calamities, and be devoted and do good to their parents.
Family members must also remind each other about the presence of Allah's punishment for those who eat what is haram, so that hell has the right to clean it. Also, regarding the punishment of reducing the scales that are threatened with hell Wail, punishment for not protecting the mouth and limbs from cursing and criticizing those threatened by Huthamah hell, as well as the threat of punishment due to shirk in the form of trusting amulets, implants, and the like.
If we practice remembering each other in family life where parents and children are both faithful, the family will always receive grace from Allah, by always carrying out orders and keeping away from His prohibitions. That way, they will all die in a state of faith.
