There Are More Cuts, Migrant Workers Go Home to 3 Day Quarantine

DDHK.ORG - The Indonesian Covid-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) issued Circular Letter (SE) Number 7 of 2022. The SE was signed by the Head of the Task Force, Lt. Gen. Suharyanto, on February 16, 2022.

Through this SE, the Government of Indonesia has cut the quarantine period for the arrival of Foreign Travelers (PPLN) to 3×24 hours or 3 days. With the condition, for those who have received an advanced or booster dose of the corona virus (Covid-19).

"Quarantine for 3 × 24 hours for foreign travelers who have received the third dose of vaccine," said the Task Force.

For PPLNs under 18 years of age or under 18 years of age and requiring special protection, the duration of quarantine follows the provisions imposed on their parents or travel caretakers. Meanwhile, PPLNs who have completed receiving two complete doses of vaccination are required to undergo a quarantine period of 5 × 24 hours. And for residents who have just received a single dose of vaccine, they need to undergo a longer quarantine period, which is 7 × 24 hours.

The government has also provided a special and free centralized quarantine place for Indonesian citizens who meet the criteria. Namely, Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who return to Indonesia to stay at least 14 days in Indonesia, students who return to Indonesia after completing education or carrying out study assignments abroad, government employees who return to Indonesia after carrying out official trips abroad. country, and representatives of Indonesia in international competitions or festivals.

Meanwhile, Indonesian citizens and foreigners outside the criteria are required to undergo a quarantine period in a place determined by the government at their own expense.
