Wisdom zakat for Muzakki
- Can purify oneself from the filth of sins, purify the soul, develop generous morals, be sensitive to humanity and eradicate hunks (miser) and greed.
- Zakat is a manifestation of gratitude for Allah's blessing.
- Zakat can heal the heart from excessive love of the world.
- Making assets more blessed (increasing) both in quality and quantity.
The wisdom of zakat for Mustahiq
- Helping, fostering and building the poor in terms of the economy, so that they are able to carry out their obligations to Allah SWT.
- Eradicating jealousy, hatred and envy towards those around him who live quite a life, especially in luxury.
- The wisdom of zakat for society
- Can support the realization of an Islamic social system that stands on the principles of: al-wahdah (unity), to the-Musawah (equal degrees, and obligations), to the-Brotherhood (brotherhood), and takaful Ijti'ma (social solidarity).
- Become an important element in realizing a balance in the distribution of assets (social distribution), and the balance of individual responsibilities in society.
- Zakat can create a prosperous society. This is evident in the era of Umar bin Abdul aziz where no one was willing to accept zakat because all parties paid attention to their obligations towards Allah, especially the obligation to give zakat.
