Shoot Prayers, Densus 88 injures Muslims

The action of Densus 88 to arrest Khairul Ghazali while praying made Commission III of the DPR angry.

Prior to the agenda for the due diligence of the next month's Head of Police candidate, Commission III of the DPR will first schedule the summons of the National Police Chief, Bambang Hendarso Danuri, to take responsibility for the actions of Densus 88.

"We will first summon the National Police Chief, we will ask for an explanation about the Densus 88 which is not professional," Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Tjatur Sapto Edy told INILAH.COM, Wednesday (29/9).

According to Tjatur, the Densus 88 action has gone too far, because the arrest and shooting of people during prayers can ignite the emotions of Muslims.

"There are more Densus numbers, more complete Densus weapons, how come people who pray are being arrested and shot at. This cannot be understood by any logic so the Densus SOP must be straightened out, "said Tjatur.

Previously it was reported, Densus 88 allegedly shot Khairul Ghazali, a person suspected of being involved in acts of terrorism in Medan, North Sumatra, on Sunday (19/9). Khairul Ghazali, a resident of Bunga Tanjung, Datuk Bandara Timur, Tanjung Balai, who was suspected of being a terrorist, was reportedly shot while he was praying. *
