Faith in the Apostle

DDHK.ORG - Apostles are people who are chosen by Allah swt to receive revelations through the intermediary of angels to be conveyed to his people. There are 25 apostles.

Each Apostle has their respective duties. For example, Prophet Musa (as) was sent only for his people. So did Jesus and the other apostles.

The difference with the Prophet Muhammad with the previous Apostles, the Prophet Muhammad is a prophet of the end of time. So the Prophet was given a revelation to be conveyed to the people of the whole world, not only to the Arabs. Because, the function of the treatise he brought was to perfect the treatise that had been conveyed by the previous Apostles.

There is a difference between Prophets and Apostles. If the Prophet, is a man chosen by God who gets orders or revelations, but for himself. No need to tell others.

According to history, the number of the Prophet there are 124 thousand people. Of that number, as many as 25 people are Apostles.

The meaning of faith in the Prophet

Faith in apostles means believing that there is a messenger who receives revelation from Allah swt through the intermediary of the angel Gabriel. The revelation is not only kept by him, but also must be conveyed to his people. The revelations and treatises are about the understanding and understanding of monotheism, namely the existence of a single God, God Almighty.

When we believe in the Apostle, it means that we have to believe in the message he carried, believe in the book he brought, believe in the bearer, namely the angel, and also believe in Allah as the Essence who sent him. Including, believing in the Day of Judgment and believing in the provisions of qadha and qadar.

So, faith is one package, one unit. Even though there are 6 Pillars of Faith, we can't just believe in one of them, we can't separate them out.

An apostle must have the following characteristics:

  1. Sidiq (honest);
  2. Amanah (trustworthy);
  3. Tabligh (delivering revelation);
  4. Fathonah (intelligent).

On the other hand, it is impossible for the Apostle to possess the following qualities:

  1. Kidzib (lie);
  2. Khianah (treason);
  3. Kitman (save);
  4. Baladah (stupid).

There is also the nature of the jaiz of an Apostle. Namely, "al-a'radhul-basyariyah", human traits. That is, the Apostle also eats, sleeps, drinks, gets married, has a family, and other human habits in general.

But the Messenger of Allah has characteristics that other people do not have. That is, the Prophet Muhammad was never "angob" or yawning. And, throughout his life, not a single fly landed on the body of the Messenger of Allah. It was thanks to how holy he was.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) also admitted that when he sleeps, even though his eyes are closed, his heart never sleeps. In a sense, his connection with Allah will always exist throughout his life. His heart always remembers Allah swt.
