Celebration of July 1, Hong Kong Provides Free Transportation and Tickets Plus Big Discounts

To celebrate the 26th anniversary of the July 1 handover of Hong Kong from Britain to China, the government and public companies separately held various promotions. Starting from free admission to government facilities to free transportation rides.

Restaurants such as Maxim Food and Fairwood will sell their set meals at 71 percent of their original price. McDonald's will sell two pineapple custard pies for HK$11 next Saturday, and KFC will sell chicken wraps for a discounted price of HK$26.
