DDHK. ORG – Outing of Da'wah Partner Assembly Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong was often held before the pandemic broke out. On Monday, January 2, 2023 yesterday, Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong (DDHK) again held an Outing of the Da'wah Partners Assembly at Lido Beach, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.
just so you know, Lido Beach this is on Castle Peak Road in Ting Kau, New Territories, Hong Kong. This beach is about 200 meters long, and is located beside the smaller Casam Beach. This is beside the northern abutment of the Ting Kau Bridge which also offers views of the Tsing Ma Bridge. Facilities here include a beach volleyball court, changing rooms and showers, toilets, and a cake shop.
In this activity which was attended by 17 taklim assemblies in Hong Kong with a total of 98 people, this is an annual gathering between DDHK's da'wah partner assemblies. After three years of the pandemic, this is the first time it is being held again.
"The purpose of this event is to meet misses, refresh, and strengthen ties between assemblies," explained GM DDHK Imam Baihaqi.
Various Activities During the Outing of the Da'wah Partner Assembly
Da'wah Partner Assembly Outing Dompet Dhuafa Hong Kong This was exciting because it was filled with various events such as a handball competition, quiz ranking 1, gift exchange, awarding of the Assembly Award, impressions of messages from the assembly to DDHK, and not forgetting to include muhasabah.
For assembly awards were given to three assemblies namely Al Istiqomah TST, FKMPU Causeway Bay, and JRQ Yuen Long.
The muhasabah session was filled by Ustadz Genry Nuswantoro, an ustadz from Indonesia who previously served in Taiwan in order to carry out the work program of Dompet Dhuafa center.
"Ustadz Gery reminded the participants to always present Allah in every breath of our lives, introspection over the year that has passed, and is optimistic about the year that will be passed," added Imam Baihaki.
While the 1st ranking quiz that was held involved all participants. The quiz is divided into three rounds, namely preliminary, semi-final and final. In the preliminary round, all participants must answer questions through the WhatsApp group, whoever answers correctly and the fastest will get points.
In the semifinal and final rounds, selected participants were asked to come forward to answer questions. They were asked to ring the bell with a unique sound before answering. As a result, this quiz show was very entertaining for the participants and invited laughter.
For the quiz winners, 1st to 5th place winners are Rohmi (Al ISTIQOMAH Council of TST), Nur'Aini (JRQ YUENLONG Council), Ena (Central FSM Council), Farida (Nurjamiah Discovery Bay Council), and Laila (Central FSM Council). [DDHK News]
