Corona Outbreak in Hong Kong: Add 4 Today, Death Toll to 63

The Hospital Authority reported 4 more deaths related to Covid-19 today, Wednesday (12/8/2020), bringing the number of deaths to 63. The four victims suffer from chronic diseases, and 2 of them are elderly patients from nursing homes who have become one of them. the location of the corona virus outbreak.

One of them is a 91-year-old female patient who lives at the Salvation Army Lung Hang Residence For Senior Citizens (nursing home) in Tai Wai. Another one, is a 79 year old male patient who lives at the King Fok Nursing Home in Sham Shui Po.

The third victim, a 78-year-old man living in Chai Wan. Meanwhile, the fourth is a 93 year old woman who lives in Yuen Long.

In August alone, HA had 36 confirmed deaths, more than double the number of deaths amid the third wave of the coronavirus outbreak that occurred for 2 consecutive days. Namely, since the end of July where the number of newly confirmed cases here rose to three digits.

Meanwhile the number of infections has decreased somewhat in recent days. Hong Kong government officials have urged citizens to remain vigilant about the coronavirus.
