Fatwa Halal Mixue Finally Published MUI

DDHK. ORG – Mixue has become something that has gone viral lately. Besides having many branches in various regions quickly, Mixue is much discussed because it often occupies empty shophouses.

Related its halal, finally the Ulema Council Indonesia (MUI) has issued a fatwa regarding the halalness of this Ice Cream & Tea brand product. Halal provisions are stipulated in a fatwa session.

Reported Seconds, this fatwa trial was held on Wednesday afternoon (15/2/2023). Head of Field MUI Halal Fatwas, Asrorun Niam said that this halal fatwa was issued after listening to a report on the results of an inspection by the Halal Examination Agency (LPH) auditor team on the composition and production process carried out by Mixue.

"In the trial it was concluded that the Mixue product met the halal standards set by the MUI. All materials used are halal and holy, then in the production process the purity is guaranteed, "said Niam in a written statement, Thursday (16/2/2023).

Niam explained, this halal determination covers all outlets and menus. Even though previously the halal inspection of this shop had to be reconfirmed because there was one ingredient from China.

"MUI, in its standard fatwa, stipulates that the determination of the halal status of a food product that has branches with various menus must be audited for all outlets and their menus. This is to guarantee halalness as a whole, "continued Niam.

Separately, the Secretary of the Fatwa Commission, Miftahul Huda, expressed his appreciation to Mixue's management for their efforts in the halal certification process for all of the company's products.

With the issuance of the MUI Halal decree, Miftahul hopes that this will become the basis for the Indonesian Ministry of Religion's Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) to issue Halal Certificates for Mixue products. [DDHK News]
