Tickets for the 2023 Eid Transport Train Can Be Purchased Starting February 26
DDHK. ORG – Train tickets for transport Eid 2023 can be purchased starting this February 26. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) will start selling train tickets (KA) with orders that can be made through the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, and all other official sales channels for KAI.
Reported KompasVP Public Relations of PT KAI Joni Martinus explained, specifically for the sale of Eid transport tickets this year, a policy was implemented with ticket sales rules starting H-45 before departure.
"As of February 26, 2023, customers can already buy tickets for April 12, 2023 departure. Where in normal conditions other than the Eid Transport period, KAI applies a policy for selling Long Distance Train tickets starting D-30 before departure," said Joni.
According to him, this change was made to improve services and provide an opportunity for the public to plan their trips by train during the Lebaran Transport period.
Joni also appealed to prospective customers to be careful in inputting dates, routes, and personal data when placing an order.
"Plan the trip as well as possible, including the estimated trip to the station. Don't get mistaken and end up not being able to go home for Eid," he said.
In addition, in order to face the 2023 Lebaran transportation period, KAI is making various preparations both in terms of facilities, infrastructure, and human resources. One of them is working with all stakeholders to carry out Ramp Check activities or minimum service standard safety inspections in all railroad operating areas.
"KAI officers also continue to be prepared to realize the security and safety of train travel," added Joni.
