DDHKORG — On Monday (4/10/2021), Indonesia recorded additional new cases of Covid-19 as many as 922 cases. The reading below 1.000 is the lowest since June 2020.
As is known, the addition of daily new cases in Indonesia touched the number 100 which began to occur on March 24, 2020. Then, the findings of new cases daily reaching 1.000 for the first time occurred on June 9, 2020. Since then, additional new cases of Covid-19 in the country have always been above 1.000 cases per day.
Even then, Indonesia began to record additional new cases reaching 10.000 per day, since January 8, 2021. The peak occurred in July. As of July 15, an additional 56.757 new positive cases were reported. This figure is the highest since the pandemic hit Indonesia.
At the beginning of July 2021, the Government also implemented a policy of implementing strict Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). Starting from emergency PPKM, to the implementation of tiered level PPKM which is still in effect today.
Since the implementation of PPKM, additional daily cases have been sloping. Entering this October, the daily case report was back at 1.000. On October 1 there were 1.624 cases reported, October 2 1.414 cases, October 3 1.142 cases, and October 4 922 cases. [Source: CNN Indonesia] [DDHKNews]
