Saturday No Local Cases, Second Time in a Month

 DDHK.ORG - On Saturday (26/9/2020) there were no cases of local Covid-19 infection in Hong Kong. The only recorded cases were imported cases.

This was reported by the official website of the Government of Hong Kong, news.gov.hk. “The Center for Health Protection said today it is investigating one additional COVID-19 case, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 5.059. This case was imported and involved a 48 year old man from Bahrain, ”the website wrote on Saturday.

RTHK reported that for the first time in 11 days Hong Kong had not recorded any cases of local infection. And, this is also the second time this has happened in a month.

The day before, Friday (25/9/2020), the Chief Executive, Carrie Lam, stated that the third wave of Covid-19 infections in Hong Kong was under control. Even so, he warned about the possible threat of infection from an unknown source. He also reminded Hong Kongers to be aware of the possibility of a fourth wave of coronavirus outbreaks that could potentially hit the country in the coming winter.

Based on data on the official website of the Hong Kong Government specifically for handling Covis-19, coronavirus.gov.hk, as of Sunday (27/9/2020), there were 5.066 corona cases in the country of Concrete. A total of 4.786 patients have been declared cured and allowed to go home from their care.

Currently, 141 patients are still being treated in hospitals, with 11 of them in critical condition. Meanwhile, 105 others have died. [DDHK. ORG]
