Due to the demands of work, is it permissible for the Fajr prayer 5 minutes before its time?

Peace, mercy and blessings of God

Ustadz, I want to ask a question.

My routine work starts at 05.45:05.40, while the time for Fajr prayer is at 5:XNUMX. What is the ruling if I perform the Fajr prayer XNUMX minutes before the call to prayer? Is my prayer valid?

Thank you, Ustadz.

Greetings, Fulanah

ANSWER:

ليكم السلام الله ات

Bismillah... One of the conditions for the validity of prayer is that the time has come. Because the obligation to pray has been determined by Allah Subhanahu wata'ala.

لصَّلَوٰةَ انَتۡ لَى لۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ كِتَـٰبࣰا ا {سورة النساء: .٣}

"Indeed, prayer is an obligation whose time has been determined for those who believe." {Surat an-Nisa': 103}

Verse 103 of Surah An-Nisa' above is a continuation of verse 102 which talks about the khauf prayer (in a state of fear or war) which must also enter its time as well as the recommendation to remain in congregation (for men).

So, if in a critical situation such as war, it must be time for prayer to be done, then the reason for having to work for a living is of course the time for prayer must also be on time.

So whoever prays before the time has come, his prayer is invalid.

May Allah make things easy for all of us. Amen.

Wallâhu a'lam bish-showâb.
