Beware of Corona, Joint Officers Go to the gathering place for foreign domestic workers in Hong Kong

DDHK.ORG - The joint OFFICES of the Hong Kong Department of Labor, Police, and the Department of Food & Environmental Hygiene, yesterday (8/8/2020) began to carry out mobile publications at gathering places for foreign domestic workers (PRT) to remind them to comply with strict rules anti-epidemic corona.

Publicity cars parked at gathering spots for foreign domestic workers across Hong Kong broadcast reminders about the prohibition of group gatherings and the obligation to wear masks in public in Chinese, English, Tagalog, Indonesian and Thai.

"The vans will carry out mobile publications at these places for 2 days in a row (until today)," the official website of the Hong Kong Government, news.gov.hk.

Leaflets were also distributed by officials from the department to urge them to keep the environment clean and refrain from selling without a permit.

"The police are also adding personnel to increase patrols at these locations," wrote news.gov.hk.

The Ministry of Manpower will continue to urge foreign domestic workers to avoid unnecessary gatherings and stay at home as much as possible. [DDHKNews]
